Tourist Visas

A foreign national traveling to the United States for tourism needs a visitor visa (B-2) unless qualifying for entry under the Visa Waiver Program. Tourism is a short visit for vacation, for visiting family and friends, or for medical treatment

There are three reasons for applying for the visitor visa:

1 – the purpose of your visit to the US is tourism – i.e. travelling, seeing cultural landmarks, national parks as well as visiting friends or relatives.

2 – the purpose of your trip is a short-term business trip, attending conferences, meeting with clients, partners or your management.

3 – travelling with a family that employs you as a nanny or a family assistant.

Please note that any form of employment while in the US under B1/B2 visa is strictly forbidden!
